It might look like we havent been up to much look at this blog, but that couldnt be farther from the truth!
You'll note in our last place we said we were running on the website relaunch, and we however are, but we have been so engaged that it has taken much much longer than we'd hoped, partly due to getting it 80% ready, and so totally changing how we need it to go and look!
We were with Rebecca & Paul only a little while, but we actually made the near of the quirky decor at the Slepe Hall Hotel in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. the gain by the hotel of a 50's diner meant we could get some fun with the pair and leave them with unique wedding photography to prevent them smiling for days to come. And the milkshake was really tasty too!
We returned to the Hitchin Priory on a sunny June Saturday for The Marriage of Alexis & Ben. It was keen to go backwards to certain areas of the picturesque grounds with the Bride & Groom now in their wedding finery.
We were charmed to picture the Association of Town Centre Management's award ceremony at Murray Edwards College Cambridge. Congratulations to all the winners including our very own Love Cambridge team! The photos from this case can be seen here
Barely 6 years after we were back at Murray Edwards College Cambridge to photography their Pathways to Success event, which saw over 90 gifted A-Level students from across the country attend this inspiring event, to serve them in their higher education decisions.
You'll note in our last place we said we were running on the website relaunch, and we however are, but we have been so engaged that it has taken much much longer than we'd hoped, partly due to getting it 80% ready, and so totally changing how we need it to go and look!
But it will grant us to showcase our images much more effectively, and assist you decided if we are the right photographers for you.
So we only wanted to update you on what we have been up to, we've shot some great events, created striking theatre production shots and of course, many wonderful weddings - here's just a taster of what we have been up to complete the final few months.

In April we covered another issue for Theatre is.when they took their workshop "It's Our House" to Lea Manor High School in Luton, Tom took production photos of the the last performance as well as shots of the workshops beforehand documenting the day.

Also in April we covered our first civil partnership at the beautiful Jesus College Cambridge. On the day of The Civil Partnership of Carol & Alex we were blasted with glorious sunshine, ensuring our relaxed and informal style suited the quiet and sunny atmosphere, mixing reportage photography with some more artistic portraits.

The Wedding of Susie & Howard took office in Guilden Morden which is Tom's home village in rural Cambridgeshire, so it was a joy to shoot a marriage in the village church. The wedding party then moved on to the wonderful Offley Place in Hertfordshire.

In May we took our Photo Booth Studio to Sioban's 40th Birthday party at Blakemore House in Hertfordshire. The welfare of having two photographers at your marriage or event means we can cover from two different angles, rooms or locations. In this case Lina took hold of the Photo Booth Studio whilst Tom could go about the dance floor, capturing the fun, excitement and colours of the party.
Here at Liquid Photo we know to hit a full party! So if you are considering having a party photographer get in contact with us to see what we can provide you.

At the end of the month we traveled to Greenwich Theatre in London to leave theatre production photography for Gomito Productions. The Alchemystorium is the history of three friends who run a quirky cafe and we want them luck with their Edinburgh Festival run in this their 10th anniversary year.

We then had The Marriage of Aimee & Iain at Great Wilbraham Hall Farm
It was set to be held in the barn, but merely a few weeks before it sadly burnt down. We got straight onto the call to the Bride & Groom to assure them that we loved the yard at the farm and were certainly the now marquee wedding would however be fantastic. Everyone pulled together and we had a grand day with the couple, and we had a really busy Photo Booth Studio!

On a Sunday afternoon break from processing, we went with Alexis & Ben to the Hitchin Priory in Hertfordshire for their pre-wedding shoot. Ben was a nervous Groom but as you will see from the picture shoot this loving couple were naturals!

Always a pleasure, we were once again asked to offer performance artist Bryony Kimmings with theatre production photography for her latest show 7 Day Drunk. This photograph has since appeared in The Times Newspaper.

Girton College has rapidly become one of our favourite Cambridge Colleges after the stunning Wedding of Sarah & Andrew. This photogenic couple married in the brilliancy of The Old Library before enjoying their wedding breakfast in the impressive dinning hall. This is one of our favourite wedding photos of the class so far.

We were charmed to recall to Chilford Hall in Cambridgeshire for the intimate Wedding of Heather & Oliver, where we were lucky enough to gather in to the chocolate fountains alongside their guests, yum!
As good as our marriage and event photography keeping us busy, we receive also created a photography network for Cambridgeshire. Cambridge Darkroom is more than just acamera club.We truly think that when people with a common interestgroup together, they can accomplish big things.Sure, we can alwayslearn how to best use our cameras, but we'd also like to see what abunch of creatives can accomplish when they put their collectivephotographic minds together. We encounter on the last Thursday of every month at 7.30pm in the Arts Picturehouse Cambridge. We were overwhelmed that our first sitting in July attracted around 60 people! We are presently running on next and future sessions with our Co-organisers, the brilliant Dominick Reed & Marine Barberoux. Dom's self portrait style is especially hard and we were lucky enough to get a hit with him in aid of Cambridge Darkroom.

Do get in contact if you get any involvement in photography in Cambridgeshire!
